At the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Memorial Halls for the Atomic Bombing Victims we collect, preserve and display memoirs of the atomic bombing written by survivors and their relatives and aquaintances. The words and feelings of these individuals convey the realities of the bombings and constitute appeals for peace. With the consent of the individuals involved, we introduce some of these documents and materials here on the homepage.
*More memoirs are available at the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Peace Memorial Halls.
